TreeLine provides tools to create, manage, and produce visual representations of family trees and related materials.
2. Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate information
- keep your account secure
- be responsible for activity under your account
3. User content
You may submit content including:
- personal data
- family relationships
- images
- historical information
You remain responsible for what you submit.
4. Responsibility for data
You agree that:
- you have permission to share any personal data you enter
- you will not knowingly submit misleading or harmful information
- you will respect the privacy of others
TreeLine does not verify user-submitted data.
5. Collaboration
TreeLine may allow you to invite others to contribute.
You are responsible for:
- who you invite
- what access they have
- how shared data is used
Invited contributors
If you provide contact details for a contributor, you confirm that you have permission to do so and that the invitation is appropriate.
Shared tree content
By contributing to a tree, you acknowledge that information within that tree may be visible to the tree owner and other authorised contributors.
You also acknowledge that TreeLine may facilitate the sharing of such information between participants in the same tree.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for unlawful purposes
- upload harmful, abusive, or offensive content
- attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service
7. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but:
- we do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- features may change or be updated
8. Orders and printing
Where physical products are offered:
- you are responsible for reviewing and approving content before ordering
- TreeLine is not responsible for errors in user-provided data once approved
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- TreeLine is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- we are not responsible for inaccuracies in user-submitted data
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts where:
- these terms are breached
- misuse is detected
You may also stop using the service at any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
