Show hidden people
Hidden people
When you hide or prune people, they are not deleted from your family data —
they are simply excluded from the chart. This view reveals them as
semi-transparent grey bars alongside the visible people.
Why hide people?
Large trees can become visually overwhelming. Hiding distant branches or
less-relevant individuals keeps the chart focused on the story you want
to tell, while preserving the full data for later use.
Restoring hidden people
- Right-click a hidden person and select Unhide to restore them individually
- Use Reset → Show all to unhide everyone at once
